CURIO. A display of historical graffitti covering a period 1781-1913 on lead panels found on the tower roof during reconstruction in 2002/03. 219 historical 'lovers and plumbers marks' - some were foot prints or outlines and a devish figure - were found. The survey was undertaken by Robert Sheppard of the Trent and Peak Archeological Unit, Nottingham University.
