Benefactions tablet - Robert Bagnall invested £100 to be distrubited to the poor on 24 June & 1 Nov., Mrs Hannah Bagnall 1727 left land, Thomas Allen L.L.D. Rector, & Dean of Chester left £100 in his will dated 1731, Thomas Finney of Blurton 1761 money to the poorest widows, the National School was endowed by the Chartered National Society in London & John Chappel Woodhouse D.D. Rector, Dean of Lichfield 1830, it was built 1815, & he left £100 to be invested & used to supply ‘Woodhouse’s Dole’ at Stoke Church on Christmas Day 1836 to the poor if they hadn’t received parish relief in the previous six months.
