Demolished 1934. Some of the stone was used for the extensions to the Memorial Institute at Rudyard. There is a photograph of the church in Horton Church.

MEMORIALS. Incised slab inserted in the wall, very worn, with figure of a lady bearly visable, dog curled at her feet, probably was once a figure to her right, now disappeared. Brass of a priest in a stone slab - John Welton senior of Rugeley 1566. Very mutilated tablet, could be to a Weston, 1607?. Richard Weston d1613 & wife Barbara (daughter of John Kniverton of Mircaston, Derbys.) & one son Rafe Weston, two daughters - Jane (married Thomas Broughton), Anne (married Francis Wolfersley of Wolesley). Largest monument in church - Thomas Landor d1670. Philip Weston of Rugeley d1713 son of Richard Weston & wife Mary. Robert Landor d1781 & wife Mary (daughter of Walter Noble) d1798 & daughter Mary d1774 & six children survived their father - Walter, John, Robert, Ann, Elizabeth & Catherine. Prayer rest - A.T.W. Andrews 1906. The boys of the Prince of Wales School made a substantial contribution towards renovation of the organ 1907. The carved canopies of the organ screen - Emma Oseland Litler d1908. Henry Cope d1908 & wife Ann d1910, benefactors (plaque has been removed from the wall). CHURCH. St Paul. The priest converted to Catholicism and took his congregation with him. The church became RC in c.1983 and the memorials were removed. Now repossessed by C of E, but the memorials have vanished. (Info. needs checking).
