A plaque to commemorate on Saturday April 6 1897 a Silent Peal of Surprise Minor rung in 2 hours 56 minutes being 720 each of London, Chester, Cambridge, Superlative, York, Worcester & Bristol. This was the first Peal of Silent Minor ever rung in Great Britain. Lieut. of the 3rd Batt. of Welch Regt., George Owen Birch killed Aisne Sept 14 1914. WW1 roll of honour. Rev. In belfry some various notices on paper, framed & paintings, maps of the parish. Colour print of portrait of Miss Theodosia Hinks (1792 - 1874) daughter of Rev Josiah Hinckes of Tettenhall Wood, she was the principal contributor to cost of rebuilding the church.
